Uraga Calligraphy Experience with a Custom T-Shirt

Kanako Designs is located in historic Uraga, about 30 minutes from Kamakura, and offers Japanese cultural experiences including calligraphy and custom T-shirt making. Guests can write their names in kanji, create their own calligraphy artwork and have it turned into an original T-shirt to take home the same day. Afterward, enjoy a visit to the Uraga seaside and Tomyodo while experiencing the town’s rich history and traditional Japanese culture.

Japanese Calligraphy and Personalized T-Shirt Experience 2 Hours

Available Booking Times: 10:00, 13:30
Course content: Japanese calligraphy, a personalized T-shirt made from the guest's artwork, a visit to the Uraga seaside and Tomyodo, and a round-trip ticket for the Uraga Ferry (Atagomaru). Lunch is not included. Maximum 6 guests per booking. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are recommended. The experience is not wheelchair accessible. Service animals are allowed. Outdoor portions and ferry operations may change due to weather or operating conditions.
